Q: Can I receive a brochure without placing an order on the website?
Ans: Yes you can, just call our customer service department at 416-446-1771 or email us at orders@somersetgifts.com, and we will be glad to send one out to you.
Q: What is your return policy?
Ans: We guarantee the freshness of our flowers for 7 days. Should there be a problem with a gift basket, please call our customer service department at 416-446-1771 or email us at orders@somersetgifts.com.
Q: Can I change my order?
Ans: Please send us an email to orders@somerset.com, or call our customer service department at 416-446-1771, as soon as possible. You can change your order provided the original order has not been created.
Q: What if my order arrives and it is not the same as what I saw online?
Ans: Somerset reserves the right to substitute product based on seasonal and regional availability and designer interpretation.
Q: Where do you ship to?
Ans: We ship anywhere in the world.
Q: How quickly will orders be shipped during holiday times?
Ans: As one would expect, holidays are extremely busy and we would ask that you provide us with your orders at least 2-3 days prior to the expected delivery date.
Q: What if I forget my password?
Ans: If you are a past customer, we will have your password on file, and will be able send you your password via email upon receiving your request.
Q: When will my credit card be charged?
Ans: We will attempt to secure authorization on your credit card at the point of purchase. If there is a problem securing this authorization you will be notified, and prompted to use another card. Upon receiving authorization, your order will be completed and shipped.
Q: Which credit cards are accepted?
Ans: Currently we accept Visa and Master Card.
Q: What is the Give a Gift. Twice. program?
Ans: Somerset Flowers + Gifts takes 10% of the product purchase price and donates it to charity (please see charity button for a list of our charities)on behalf of the purchaser.
Q: Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Ans: For processing credit card payments, we utilize the services of PayPal, the number one choice on the internet for secured transactions. Paypal encrypts information using SSL (secure socket layer) technology.
Q: Can I cancel an order?
Ans: If your order has not been delivered, or is not on its way to being delivered, we can easily cancel it. To do so, please contact our customer service department at 416-446-1771 or 1-888-442-2822. Unfortunately, if your order has already been sent out, we cannot cancel it.
Q: Can I change the delivery address?
Ans: We will be happy to change the delivery address as long as your order has not been delivered or is not on its way to being delivered. To request a change to your orders delivery address, please email us at orders@somersetgifts.com or phone our customer service department.
Q: What happens after I place an order?
Ans: After an order is placed through the shopping cart on our website, you will see a 'Thank You' page, which will display an online order confirmation number. This is the confirmation that your order has successfully been placed. Your order is then sent over a secured connection to Somerset Flowers + Gifts. You will receive an email order confirmation as well. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by phone or email.
Q: What if I do not receive an email order confirmation?
Ans: If you do not receive an email order confirmation within four hours of placing your order, there might be a delay on the Web due to internet traffic. However, if you do not receive an email order confirmation by the following day, please feel free to contact us at 416-446-1771 locally, or 1-888-442-2822 to ensure that your order is being processed. In order to receive an email confirmation, we require a valid email address.
Q: How do we know that you haven't just increased your price to cover the 10% donation to the charity?
Ans: We are NOT a traditional florist shop with huge overheads and we buy directly from the importers, thus our prices are far below retail stores, plus we are able to donate 10% of the purchase price to charity.
Q: How do we know that the donation went to the charity?
Ans: We ask you to give Somerset Flowers + Gifts approval to give your name to the charity you choose. If you do, then the charity will send you out a thankyou/notification that a donation was made on your behalf by Somerset Flowers + Gifts.
Q: How soon will the items be shipped?
Ans: We will send your items within 1 business day after receiving your order.
Q: How can I trace delivery status of my items?
Ans: Phone our customer service department, and give them the invoice or order number and they will be able to trace the item.
